Mobile phones contain a tiny internal omni-directional aerial which are designed to "look around" as you travel picking up the nearest signal. Our high gain aerials are directional and are designed to be "aimed" at your nearest antenna to pick up the required signal ( just like a regular TV aerial ). They are capable of picking up signals from 36 kms away which is very rarely the case as even in rural France your nearest mast should be no more than 10kms.

Our High Tech Internet software has been developed to maximise the potential of our LTE access points which allow us to configure frequencies, bands, LTE radio waves and the myriad of parameters that are necessary to obtain a strong, reliable and fast internet connection. Of course, all of the "big four" mobile phone operators have a box solution
but they do not use aerials and you must have a strong mobile phone signal indoors and a very weak ADSL line to satisfy eligibility - which is very rarely the case in rural areas, villages and communes.
BUT fibre is on its way ?
Dont be misled by ultra fast download figures via promised fibre. According to Netflix, the Internet speed you'll need for downloads is as follows: "For any streaming at all, you'll need a minimum of 0.5 megabits per second (Mbps), but Netflix recommends 1.5 Mbps. For DVD quality, you will need 3.0 Mbps. For HD quality, you will need 5.0 Mbps."
Many of our current customers are achieving over 50 mbps which is more than you will ever need for any application.
WHAT about satellite broadband ?
Europasat/Tooway/BigBlu or whatever they call themselves these days are offering "unlimited" internet with various packages starting from 29.99 per month but hidden in the small print is the usual "data cap" which slows your connection down after a given amount of data usage. In fact, their cheapest package at 29.99 Euros per month only gives you 10gb of download data at full speed (full speed by the way is 16mb download). After that you are "throttled" to snail speed which belies the "unlimited" claims.
